June 2020 - Picks Barn Update

Whether you have passed by the building or followed some of the progress online, you’ll know that despite the restrictions resulting from the Coronavirus crisis our diligent trade teams have worked tirelessly to ensure the commercial barn conversion has continued, albeit at a slower pace.

Externally the tin roof and timber cladding has already begun to weather which in time will give an impression the building has been here for years; a similar approach will soon be applied to landscaping. Internally literally tonnes of steel have been erected to support the expansive and versatile upper exhibition/function space (120m2) that enjoys a terrific view across the Chater Valley.

We are delighted to announce that expressions of interest are now being received for the separate units positioned either side of the central concourse with a view to offering tenancies in the latter half of this year.

Unit 3 is being fitted out with catering facilities to service the daily needs of our existing Lyndon Barns & Workshops commercial tenants, plus of course those occupying Picks Barn and any event requirements within this building.

The remaining lettable areas with floor space up to 85m2 will have a minimal specification to allow for customised client finishing.

Underfloor heating is installed throughout the entire building and each unit will have the latest full-fibre (FTTP) internet services.
